I am married and a student so I don’t have much time to spare on planning foods to eat, etc, but my hubby and I are trying to eat healthier. We don’t have that much weight to lose, about 50 lbs between the both of us. We have started a running plan and I am starting to drink more water. There are NO sweets in the house, I never buy them. the answer is really obvious. you know darn well what is bad for you and what is good for you. have a walk before dinner, eat fresh produce, add lots of color to your meals. eat all your veggies skipping the high fat additives like butter and oil. have a plain baked potato instead of french fries. choose italian dressing over ranch. have an apple for a snack. limit your tv time. play outside w/ your kids. take spot for a run. play brainage if you’re feeling lazy ( ur mind needs a workout too). do not watch reality shows — better yet if u wanna go extreme: cancel ur cable and invest in books. cut soda out of your diet. etc etc. see a pattern? eat light, be active, stay away from over indulging. but also don’t be afraid to have a small piece of cake every now and again or choose the fattening pudding over sugar free.i also reccommend making things from scratch if you can. that way us can be sure you’re ingredients are all gonna be good for you. like if you want pudding — learn how to make it from scratch and with non fat milk. which reminds me — cut out the lattes (skinny vanilla lattes aren’t as skinny as u hope) unless you want to treat urself of course.
in conclusion: make healthy choices in your diet and how you spend your time. pretty soon ull feel good inside and out.

What you didnt say is how long you went on the diet. There is no such thing as a magical weight loss pill. Even when taking diet pills one has to be very committted to their workout program not missing any gym days and must eat right. The key to weightloss is patience. If you went on the diet for 1 week, assuming you did everything right, you would barely see results. It takes time to lose weight by doing the right things. If you are really obese it may take months, the weight wont magically fall off. I suggest you go to bodybuilding.com forums and look at the fat loss forum. Theres a thread called “fat loss for noobs part II” read over all the tips and do what it says. I lost 50lbs since january following that site. Best of luck.
