What are some diets that really work, are fast, and are safe?

I’m a ballerina so naturally i should be very thin. I’m not fat but to be a dancer i would like to loose about 10-15 pounds. Sometimes i get a little discourage being in skin tight clothing when everyone around me is stick skinny. I don’t want to look like I’m sick but i want to look healthy and slim.

Generally speaking diets can’t be both fast and safe.

You could drastically cut your caloric intake by eating only a few grapes each day and drinking only water. You could cut a lot of weight that way. But that will deprive you of the nutrients your body needs in order to function properly.

You’d be better off by eating lots of green leafy veggies. Cut out the red meat. Reduce your intake of carbohydrates like potatoes and bread. Cut out all fried foods. Cut out junk food like candy, ice cream, soda and sugary drinks.

Get your heart pumping for at least 20 minutes each day. Go for a vigorous walk or a jog. This will burn calories and you’ll lose weight.

Stick with it. This is a sustainable way to live. Your body will love it. You’ll be able to maintain the strength you need to be a good dancer.

"Quick" diets aren’t sustainable. They are bad for your body and they won’t help you to become a better dancer.

Diets don’t work. Check the results. Intuitive eating is the way to go. Eat when you’re hungry and stop eating when you’re not hungry anymore. Eat what you want.

Generally, fast weight loss is not safe.

Therefore I would suggest that there is no "fast" and "safe" diets.

You are obviously healthy the way you are, but if you insist on losing weight, a slow measured approach is much safer and it will also result in longer term weight loss, as opposed to a "quick fix" which in my experience means the pounds will soon return!! Just make sure your BMI doesn’t creep below 19 = not cool!!
