What are crash diets? A crash diet is specifically defined as going on a diet that is low on calories. Crash diets that work are very popular nowadays because of their tendency to bring down the calories inside your body, thus giving way for rapid weight loss, most especially to the ladies since they are usually the ones who love going on crash diets.       Yes, sweetie as a former dancer we often had to drop weight quick. This isn’t pleasant but it works. The things is not to stop eatting,because you will relaspe. #1 forget meat, it is high in fat and protein. Eat only and I mean only spinach, collard greens, celery, cereal( raisan bran) without the milk( just dry outta the box). All these foods will make you poop like crazy. No snacks! these foods are all avalible in the can, the best is MORNING GLORY they have great flavor. You also can have beans and once a week chicken breast prepared in olive oil. Don’t believe that myth, about water. It’s a huge myth. Drink only when you are thirsty. If you get really crazy for some real food, soups are great.(Never white soups) the are low fat and very satisfying. Flavor Tuna in the pack is also really good. So G’luck

    so i need to lose some weight and i need to do it fast. i want to do a crash diet or something along those lines.also would it be safe to eat just all of one thing. for example if i went on the low carb diet to just eat small portions of meat like a couple pieces of turkey or ham and thats it or would that some how make me gain more weight. i know its not healthy and is easy to gain it right back but it will only be 2 weeks. also do you recommend anything like i know alot of girls eat only cottage cheese(which i hate). like maybe bananas and yogurt or something along those lines. i know crash diets are bad but please dont try to give be other long term diet advice its only to fit into a dress for a wedding and thats it. thanks???

      I starved myself, but DON’T DO THAT! It took me quite a long time to get out of the field of anorexia. Just eat healthily and break it down into smaller meals more often, that way you don’t get hungry. Don’t weigh yourself often, it just brings you down and when you are depressed you don’t eat.       Stop. Do not think about crash diets.

      These are dangerously unhealthy for your body, and you will end up losing muslce, not fat. This will make it HARDER to lose weight becasue muscle burns more calories than fat.

      You need to boost your metabolism back up to where it used to be. I am over 45, and lost 25 in 5 months by doing it the old-fashioned way; exercise and calorie counting.

      I worked up to going to aerobics classes 5 days per week, and lifted weights every other day. I limited my calorie intake to 1200 per day and made sure I ate healthy foods and took multi-vitamins.

      I am now a size 3, down from a size 12, and my muscles are extremely well-defined and sexy. I get whistles from the college boys now. The first couple months I started this I hated it, but I forced myself to go NO MATTER WHAT every day, and by the fourth month I started to see and feel a huge difference. It is worth it – Just DO It!
